Keyterms in Scrum Projects

This video is about scrum project management terms and it will give a clear meaning of Scrum terms

1)Sprint Sprint is one time boxed iteration of a continuous development cycle. Within a Sprint, planned amount of work has to be completed by the team and made ready for review.

2) User stories A user story describes the type of user, what they want and why. A user story helps to create a simplified description of a requirement from an end-user perspective.

3) Product backlog A product backlog is a list of the new features, changes to existing features, bug fixes, infrastructure changes that a team may deliver in order to achieve a specific outcome.

4) Burndown chart is a graphical representation of work left to do versus time. The outstanding work (or backlog) is often on the vertical axis, with time along the horizontal.

5) Retrospective An Agile retrospective is a meeting that’s held at the end of an iteration. The team reflects on what happened in the iteration and identifies actions for improvement going forward.

6) Spike a story that cannot be estimated until a development team runs a time-boxed investigation. The output of a spike is an estimate for the original story.
